Sam the puppet welcomes all young friends to St. Luke's

On the first Tuesday of every month at 11.00 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, Sam the Puppet, Teddy Horsley, Betsy Bear and a host of other lovable characters help babies, toddlers and pre-school youngsters, and those who care for them, to learn all about Jesus, using imaginative story, action songs and play. This is a funpacked, lively and informal time, conducted in a child-friendly atmosphere, and ending with refreshments for everyone.

Noah's Ark:  We've had a fascinating summer term learning all about Joshua fighting his famous battle when we all helped to break down the (Lego) walls of Jerico, and Sue our organist played the rams horn!  This was followed in
June by learning about Gideon scaring the life out of marauding Midianite campers who stole all the food!  In July we'll be learning the story of the boy Samuel, aided by Sam the Puppet.  After a break in August, from 11th September we'll be following the story about Joseph the dreamer - so come along and join us, make friends and have some fun!
